You will deliver mandatory, specialist and behavioural support training across the South of England and up to the Midlands, supporting the L&D Manager by developing and fulfilling training strategies for the company to support its business objectives.
You'll be expected to plan, implement, deliver and evaluate mandatory, specialist and behavioural support courses throughout the organisation and provide training and development opportunities for all staff.
As a positive Behavioural Support trainer, you should have thorough knowledge of the Care Act and other legislation for delivering specialist behavioural support, including the transforming care agenda.
You need to be able to work collaboratively with a team and on your initiative, delivering training and developing bespoke training packages in line with the needs of the people the company supports.
You will also need:
? A Nursing Qualification (active PIN), Mental health practitioner
? A relevant Health and Social Care qualification
? To currently hold or willing to undertake a MAPA instructor programme
? A Level 3 Award in Education & Training, PTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
