It is exciting times for this new boutique restaurant and hospitality and events business, based on a beautiful 100 acre estate just North of London. Renowned for its ties to country pursuits, this site has undergone significant investment and is looking to develop their hospitality business.
The Lounge is open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday to Saturday; ultimately the site will move towards a Friday/Saturday dinner but it is very much early stages and will develop with time and the addition of an outstanding Sous (circa twelve months time)
Due to the nature of the site, the food offering and the clientele - a fine dinning, Rosette level background is what we are looking for. You will be joining the business at a time where the team is small and incredibly focused; you will be a key part of the ultimate success of the site and will be pivotal in growing both the team and the offering.
As Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen including running busy services, ensuring food standards are kept high, training and coaching more junior staff making sure they are having a great time. Ordering from the local suppliers, sourcing great ingredients and maintaining the operation day to day. All HACCP and COSHH requirements will have to be met and adhered too and there will be the obligatory paperwork of course!
In return for all your hard work you will be paid up to £34,000 per annum, straight shifts, working Tuesday to Saturday.
