This fantastic gastro pub are looking for a strong Sous chef to maintain their high standards and help push this site to the next level. Paying up to £26,000 plus approximately £4000 per year in tips - plus a bonus!!
We are now on the look out for an experienced, driven and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join this fantastic team.
It is exciting times for this stunning gastropub with a great Head Chef and a menu that changes every 6 weeks.
Stunning fresh food and friendly staff provide the guests with a unique journey through culinary delights and exceptional service!
The hours of work will be 45 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 basis, there is a strong team already in place so you will not end up working more than the hours you get paid for.
As a Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen including running busy services ensuring food standards are kept high, training and coaching more junior staff making sure they are having a great time. You will have the chance to put your ideas forward as well as all aspects of ordering from the local suppliers. All HACCP and COSHH requirements would have to be ensured.
Experience in a similar role is preferential, ideally in a high end gastropub but certainly in fresh prepped food environment. You will need to show drive, ambition and an ability to motivate and nurture talent within the team.
In return for all your hard work you will be paid up to 25k per annum plus up to 4k tips. You'll be given every opportunity to progress and develop with-in an expanding business. The company has an excellent benefits package for employees including tips, car parking on site and 28 days holiday per annum.
