Sous Chef - Hotel - Egham - 2 Rosette - £35,000

Due to the continued success of this fantastic hotel we are currently looking to recruit a talented Sous Chef to head up our 2AA rosette restaurant. Situated in one of the most picturesque areas in the South East, boasting a 2AA Rosette Restaurant, an excellent Executive Head Chef, some of the best weddings in the county and exciting plans in place for 2020.

Details;

* 43 bedroom/suites
* 5 days out of 7
* Managing a team of 8
* Mixed shifts - straights and splits
* Events, fine dinning restaurant, Michelin starred restaurant and lounge bar
* Extensive country estate
* Luxury weddings and events business

Duties;

* Ensure that all meals are produced daily to the highest standards
* Effectively run the pastry section
* Designing and developing menus with Executive Chef
* Working closely with Head Pastry Chef
* Working closely with team to constantly improve food offering
* Maintaining a quality service driven environment at all times
* Using finest ingredients
* Overseeing the effective completion of all health and safety regulations including HACCP, COSHH and all other due diligence
* Mentoring of Commis Chefs

The ideal Sous Chef will be;

* From a strong culinary background with experience working with fresh food
* Used to working with volume and fine dinning
* Proven rosette level experience
* Extensive hotel, restaurant experience
* Strong people skills, able to work with a wide variety of people
* Currently a strong Sous Chef looking for a move or potentially a superstar Senior Chef De Partie looking for a step forward
* Flexible - there maybe times when due to the nature of the business additional hours/ working patterns may be required

This position is paying up to £35,000 per annum and provides, fantastic fresh food and a real opportunity for growth
