Sous Chef - Gastropub - Riverhead £26,000 plus tips and bonus
We are now on the look out for an experienced, driven and passionate Sous Chef to join this fantastic business.
It is exciting times for this stunning gastropub with a great clientele a full fresh prep kitchen. You will have input in the chefs menu - so a real chance to make a name for yourself.
Stunning fresh food and friendly staff provide the guests with a unique journey through culinary delights and exceptional service!
You will be working 48 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 basis; there will be plenty of support and a healthy share of tips!
As Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen including running busy services ensuring food standards are kept high, training and coaching more junior staff making sure they are having a great time. Ordering from the local suppliers, sourcing great ingredients and fabulous food will be your day to day. All HACCP and COSHH requirements would have to be maintained and there will be the obligatory paperwork of course!
Experience in a similar role is preferential, ideally in a high end gastro pub, however if you're a star then we want to hear from you!
You will need to show drive, ambition and an ability to motivate and nurture talent within the team. There will be the opportunity to grow and build your own team around you so this truly is an excellent project!
In return for all your hard work you will be paid up to £26,000 per annum plus up to 4k tips and bonus. You'll be given every opportunity to progress and develop with-in an expanding business. The company has an excellent benefits package for employees including tips, car parking on site and 28 days holiday per annum.
