Sous Chef - Exciting independent restaurant
Are you a Sous Chef looking to get on board with an exciting concept and be a part of a growing business?
I am looking for a passionate and fresh food driven Sous Chef to take on an exciting new business in the heart of Harrogate. This role is perfect for an experienced senior chef de partie looking for their next step or an established Sous chef looking to be a part of an exciting culinary journey!
You will work alongside the Head chef and owner (who is a chef by trade himself!) on menu development, daily specials and kitchen procedures. You will assist the head chef in the day to day running of the kitchen, maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene, staff development and menu writing/costing. The emphasis in this restaurant is fresh food, prepared on sight in a friendly and relaxed environment, while constantly pushing to improve standards and increase revenue. There is a huge focus on on trend cooking here, with lots of 'free from' and vegan options so the right chef will be creative and not afraid to try out new techniques.
