We're on the lookout for more of our countries heroes, the front line key workers dedicated and committed to helping the fight against COVID-19. We're seeking to place an experienced Children Social Worker in the North Tyneside area. You will be a Qualified Social Worker with experience of child protection and strong social work values, working as part of a committed and passionate safeguarding team. For your skill and dedication in this role, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of £27 per hour.
You'll be joining a busy and hard-working team who are experienced in dealing with complex cases. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, our client is offering as much remote, flexible working as possible. However, there will be occasions when you are needed in the office or to perform visits in extreme cases.
Essential Children Social Worker requirements:
* At least two years of post-qualifying experience in child protection social work, safeguarding, or other relevant roles
* A driving license
* You must be a UK Citizen or have the right to work in the UK
* You'll need the ability to work under pressure and prioritise caseloads
Due to the nature of this Children Social Worker role, candidates must have front line post qualifying experience in child protection services. This role is subject to Social Work England registration, DBS and reference checks. The inclusive team you'll be working with are incredibly supportive and collaborative and will guide anyone who has been out of practice for a while.
