Search Health and Social Care are looking for a talented and passionate Child Social Worker to join an expanding team in the Gateshead area. This rewarding position is on a contract basis starting at the beginning of July 2020 until the end of October 2020, subject to review. The salary pays £202.68 per day.
The Social Worker role:
The successful candidate will take on the role of Children Social Worker, working four days a week in a busy integrated referral team (front-door duty). As a Children Social Worker in the Gateshead area, earning £202.68 a day, you'll be primarily office based but on an urgent response when required. You'll have experience as a child welfare social worker, will uphold the highest social-work values and be willing to undertake flexible working.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have a Social Work degree and have Social Work England registration.
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to assist in processing one.
* Be able to drive, unless a disability prevents you from doing so.
* Be compassionate and committed to child welfare.
