Search Nursing and Social Care has an opportunity for a Children Social Worker Manager to join our client's inclusive and supportive team in the Redcar area. This position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible until the end of August 2020, subject to review. This challenging and rewarding role pays £35.82 per hour.
As a Children Social Worker Manager based in the Redcar area, you'll work within the Fostering Service, implementing the vision and direction of the fostering service and building on its successful fostering recruitment campaign.
We are looking for a Manager with excellent leadership skills who has experience as a child welfare social worker and upholds the highest social work values. The successful candidate will earn £35.82 per hour.
Outline of the Managerial Social Worker role:
In this job, you will manage a team of social workers and ensure the Fostering Service can provide children in care with placement choice and stability. In doing so, you'll give foster carers with support, advice and guidance. The ideal candidate will:
* Have a Social Work degree and Social Work England registration.
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to assist in processing one.
* Be able to drive, unless a disability prevents you from doing so.
