One of the UK's leading businesses in the fight against cyber threats is looking for a Sharepoint Administrator to join them in their Manchester office.
Providing services to tens of thousands of customers worldwide, this business is passionate about helping their customers protect themselves against the ever-increasing, ever-evolving cyber threat.
What do they want me to do?
Well they have a sizeable IT function, and it's growing, so they need someone like you to join them in a brand new Sharepoint Administrator position.
You'll be the primary administrator for Sharepoint and Microsoft teams within their corporate IT set-up, working alongside a collaboration-focussed Manager to deliver key Sharepoint and Microsoft focussed projects.
Am I the sort of person they're looking for?
You are if you have collaboration in the front of your mind. You'll receive support from the wider team as you create and develop a comprehensive collaborative environment based around Sharepoint technology.
If you can bring top-level support skills to the table, then you're just what they want. Every now and again there'll be an issue with the Sharepoint systems that your colleagues on the 1st and 2nd lines can't quite handle, so you're up to the plate in that case.
If you have a modicum of flexibility in the way you work and are able to work to pre-made plans, you'll be perfect in this environment. You'll have requirements passed your way from the team and will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining those systems in accordance with the plans.
Is there any particular experience they need?
Yes, of course. You'll need to have experience with:
* Managing and troubleshooting Sharepoint environments
* Building Sharepoint sites - along with lists and libraries
* Sharepoint Online
* Microsoft Teams
* Managing Office 365 using Powershell
* Broader O365 tech - Azure AD, OneDrive, Flow, PowerApps
This all sounds like me…what will they pay me?
Let's start with the salary. You can expect to earn up to £65,000 per annum for this role, and that comes along with a nice set of benefits.
You'll get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to Buy or Sell those. There's a scheme for buying shares within the business, and a similar charity-focussed scheme. They offer 4x your basic salary as Life Assurance. There's a cycle to work scheme. There's an early dart on the Friday after pay day. The list goes on!
