Search Nursing and Social Care are looking for a Service Manager to join their expanding team in the South Tyneside area. This Care Coordinator position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible until the end of November 2020, subject to review.

Highlights of the role:
This Service Manager role based in South Tyneside pays £35.42 per hour. You'll be an experienced Service Manager or Social Worker. Essential duties include the operational service delivery of the Children's Standards Unit, along with line management responsibility for independent reviewing officers, among others.

In this Care job, which pays £35.42ph, you'll make decisions in relation to allegations about adults who work with children, to chair multi agency meetings and oversee decisions about suitability to remain in the work place and referrals to Disclosure and Barring Service; as well as lead on participation and engagement of children, young people their families to ensure their views are central to their contribution to their child's Child Protection or Looked After Plan.

The ideal Service Manager will:
* Have a social work degree and have Social Work England registration.
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to assist in processing one.
* Be able to drive, unless a disability prevents you from doing so.
