I am currently working with a business that has a great overseas presence who are looking to increase their engagement within the UK market. They are looking to add a SEO Manager to help increase engagement through their online website.
They have strong growth plans for the following year, looking to grow the team and continue previous success. This position would look at both on-page and off-page campaigns and have input into the wider marketing strategy.
The role will sit alongside the wider marketing/web function and report directly into the Managing Director of the business. The main bulk of the role will look after the development of SEO content and outreach with a focus on the strategy to drive further business performance.
The company does the majority of its business through the website, therefore the SEO manager would be key to ensuring high levels of engagement and great online presence. You would also be responsible for working with others in the business to show the importance of SEO.
You would be armed with a suite of analytics tools to look at both the company performance but also the wider market for competitor analysis and comparison.
The right candidate would come from a similar role, either at Executive or Manager level and have a comprehensive understanding of Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and worked with CSS/HTML code. If you are working in a similar e-commerce business this would also stand out.
You must be proficient in content marketing, with effective communication skills. You must also be able to work autonomously as a self started with drive to work with the wider business and influence others.
There would be some travel with the role, mainly within Europe however the role will primarily based from their Glasgow office.
