Senior Web Analyst
Manchester

A leading light of the professional training scene in the UK are looking for a Senior Web Analyst to join their team in central Manchester, due to continued growth of their business offering.

This company work to inspire nearly 50,000 students every year, who come to them to receive training that has been honed over 70 years of experience. This is a great opportunity to join a team that is trusted by a wide selection of FTSE100 companies and 80% of the financial institutions in the UK.

What will I be doing for them?

You'll be given some big responsibility right from the off. You'll be looking after the implementation, management and maintenance of analytics campaigns across the business's portfolio of 10 websites - the most recent one having only just launched back in March.

You'll be working with a raft of internal stakeholders, championing digital analytics and providing the go-to focal point for digital analytics within the business.

Am I the sort of person they're after?

Quite possibly. This is an in-house role, and will best suit an in-house person. We're not saying agency experience is a no-no, but if you can bring solid analytical experience on web platforms born out of efforts for one client in their in-house team, that's a huge plus.

You'll need to bring some in-depth Google Analytics knowledge to the table too. You'll be implementing and configuring Google Analytics to track multiple aspects of their web users behaviour and performance. You'll be gathering business requirements one moment, reporting rouge traffic or spikes the next. It'll be a very varied, fast-paced role, you can be sure of that.

What sort of skills or experience would I need?

You'll need a few things to make a strong impact here:
* Strong experience in an in-house capacity
* Experience of building reporting dashboards
* Data Analysis skills using SAS or SQL
* Knowledge of analysing the customer journey, looking at landing pages and data tags

Will I get anything for my efforts?

Certainly! They're offering a salary of up to £45,000 for this position.

There's a raft of benefits alongside this - from discounted healthcare schemes, to flexible and home working, to a lovely open modern working environment, to the option to study any of the organisation's courses in your own time!
Excellent, so what should I do now?
