Job Title: Senior Support Engineer
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + 10% NCP, 33 holidays, PMI, bonus
About the Senior Support Engineer Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected company n the centre of Edinburgh and be the stand-alone local support specialist, working very closely with the leadership team, ensuring users have all the tools and equipment needed to deliver their work with the support of other people in other sites. This is typically a Monday - Friday working pattern but there will be very occasional needs to work evenings and/or weekends.
We are looking for a competent support professional who has commercial experience of working in a similar environment, used to working at a fast pace but with a real focus on quality not quantity of resolutions. Communication, personality, attitude and aptitude outweigh technical abilities in this role so we are looking for someone comfortable engaging with users and colleagues of all levels in person, over the phone and remotely and ensure excellent customers service is offered at all times.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence communicating with users in person, over the phone and remotely
- Ability to prioritise workload and change as required at short notice
- Experience of Windows 10 and Office 365 already would be great but is not essential
- Experience if Citrix XenApp would be an advantage
- Experience of Azure or AWS would be an advantage
- ITIL knowledge
