Senior Stores Person

Salary £20k-£23k depending upon experience
Monday to Friday - 0830 to 1700hrs

This is a long term contract role.

We are looking for a PC literate Senior Stores/Warehouse Person to work within a small team running a busy Store in an electrical industry business based in Greenock.

The successful candidate will organise and be responsible for the day to day tasks and keep the operation running smoothly.

Person Specific
At least 3 years related experience including supervisory experience
Valid Forklift licence and experience
Good communicator with good interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Flexibility in moving from one task to another
PC Literate - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and familiar with stores databases ideally Oracle

Daily duties: Manage & reconcile all goods in/out of Stores
Receiving goods and visual inspection of incoming parts
Schedule deliveries & collections
Maintain accurate stock levels
Maintain good housekeeping
Maintain a safe working environment
Participate in stocktaking duties as required
Organise and then keep Stores area tidy and up to standard
General stores duties
Internal and external customer service
Packing
Such other duties as may be required on an incidental basis.
