You will be working 40 hours a week as a Senior Speech & Language Therapist for a leading care provider who provides high-quality community, residential and supported living services for adults requiring specialist learning disability and mental health support. The therapy will be provided to clients on a one-to-one basis, catering to their individualised care needs.
This flexible working Senior Speech & Language Therapist full-time role is open to experienced, genuinely caring, and hands-on language therapy experts with strong multi-tasking skills. Working as part of a supportive team, the Senior Speech & Language Therapist (SSLT) will be responsible for the delivery of practical speech and language therapy services for vulnerable adults.
. A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
. HCPC and RCSLT registration
. Basic dysphagia management experience
. Experience in social services (desirable)
The successfulSenior Speech & Language Therapist will contribute to the high standards of person-centred care provided by the client, and utilise speech & language therapy skills to effectively assess, treat and provide on-going evaluation and support of clients.
