Search are recruiting for a Senior Solutions Architect based in Glasgow who will perform the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required to develop the solution architecture for various projects. The successful candidate will focus across more than one project at a time, while providing solution architecture on individual solutions.

The successful candidate will help create high level solution models and solution architectures, including solution patterns/blueprints, to guide solution decisions for the enterprise for assigned projects aligned to business requirements. You will also be the design authority on projects ensuring adherence to architecture and design standards and the target Architecture.

Skills Required:

Minimum of five years of hands-on design and implementation experience across a minimum of two of the following technical areas:

* Application development
* Network design
* Middleware
* Servers and storage
* Database management
* Operations

Functional and Technical Skills:

* Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
* Ability to estimate the financial impact of Enterprise Solution Architecture and individual solution architecture alternatives.
* Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems.
* Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
* Knowledge of all aspects of enterprise architecture.
* Strong understanding of network and data center architecture, as well as application development methodologies.
* Understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design.
