I am currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Systems Officer in the Wrexham area for someone with experience in site pharmaceutical quality systems.

The key duties/responsibilities include:
- maintaining and improving site quality systems - such as CAPA, deviations, complaints and internal auditing
- supporting cGMP/GDP compliance
- preparation of Technical Agreements and Annual Product Reviews
- liasing with both clients and vendors
- ensuring all documentation is completed to the standards defined by cGMP/GDP
- supporting other site projects from a Quality Assurance perspective
- reviewing and approving of risk assessments

Candidate Requirements:
- substantial experience within the pharmaceutical (or equivalent) quality assurance environment
- experience with liasing with clients in relation to technical contracts/agreements
- thorough understanding of cGMP/GDP and its relationship with Technical Agreements and Annual Product Quality Reviews
- thorough understanding of the current best practices for the Pharmaceutical Quality System
- the ability to work with concepts and practices that may be outside your area of academic qualification
- a degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline
- membership of a recognised professional body (eg: RSC) would be a bonus

Other key skills include:
- excellent attention to detail
- analytical mindset
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to use computer software systems, including: SAP (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office (including Excel)
- excellent interpersonal skills
- the ability to take on a supervisory role
