This position for a Senior Project Manager - ideally with MoJ or Commercial experience - will be to manage all aspects relating to the successful delivery of the clients high value/technically challenging account, in a profitable, professional and safe manner. You will joining the building solutions division of a global group with a heritage dating back over 100 years and a strong and very successful trading history the group now consists of specialist construction, civil engineering and FM divisions.

The building solutions division has a national footprint and operates from key locations throughout England and Wales. They deliver new build, refurbishment and FM projects across key sectors including MoJ, commercial, healthcare, retail, education and mixed use developments. They work across private and public sector and have been successful on a number of Framework agreements where they have built long term strategic partnerships with clients, suppliers and across the supply chain. This has delivered significant financial success, security and a clear, long term line of sight to future growth.

This role will be to support the Operations Director in developing the business strategy while form an operational perspective, ensuring effective systems are established to support the operational needs of the Account, CAFM systems are in place to optimise the management of all planned and reactive works

Key duties and responsibilities
Defining, leading and managing all organisational resources on the project
Developing and maintaining overall strategy for the project.
Ensuring all individuals are fully aware of their required duties and responsibilities
Management of designers and providing direction for the design manager
Ensuring clear information flow to all parties at all times
Ensure materials, plant and sub-contractors are procured to meet targets
Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with all HS&E legislation, and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans.
Ensure strong commercial attention and strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
Ensure progress of the construction activities and chairing regular meetings with all the sub-teams
Ensure all required reports and documentation is readily available as required

Qualifications & Experience

Proven Project Manager experience on complex construction projects up to or exceeding £50M
Qualified to Degree level or equivalent (NVQ Level 7)
Professional membership MCIOB is desirable
CSCS Black Card
SMSTS and First Aid at work as a minimum
