Search Consultancy are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join a leading organisation based in Cannock.
The main purpose of this role is to provide payroll expertise and support to the Payroll Services Manager. Working as part of the team, you will support the manager in ensuring that all employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner, in line with the terms and conditions and statutory legislation.
As the Senior Payroll Administrator you will ensure that deliverables are met at sufficient quality and that tasks are scheduled and prioritised effectively. You will support a culture of continuous improvement and guide the team through change. Within this role you will be required to understand customer requirements and review current issues, ensuring that resolutions are agreed and scheduled.
You will identify instances where end-to-end employee life-cycle processes impacting payroll are ineffective and make suggestions to resolve and improve them and maintain and technical knowledge by attending training as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a strong and current working knowledge of SAP HR and payroll systems and possess an in-depth working knowledge of payroll legislation to enable you to break down complex issues into clear deliverables.
You will have exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain solid relationships with the team and stakeholders. You will also possess a good work ethic and have the ability and desire to support others within the team.
You have the ability to prioritise your workload and possess excellent customer service skills, together with competent IT ability.
The ideal candidate will possess a CIPP Diploma in Payroll Management.
