The role needs a mid-level Commercial Lawyer who has strong experience/understanding of commercial contracts of all varieties, supporting business projects at a local, European and Global level, alignment with compliance at a local, European, and Global level, legal research and further legal work as and when necessary under the demands of the wider direction of the corporation as well as the continued evolution of the team. The successful candidate's leadership skills will be excellent, delegating and running a department with confidence and mutual respect. Financial services regulatory experience is highly necessary, in particular a strong understanding of payment service regulations (PSD2).
