HR Consultant/Senior HR Consultant - Bath - £38K - £46K depending on experience

Our client is a growing consultancy firm who have a strong presence delivering outsourced HR solutions to Schools, Academies, Charities and private sector businesses across the UK. Due to expansion they are now looking to appoint a Senior HR Consultant from the Bath area to help service clients in the region.

To be successful in the role of Senior HR Consultant you will be an experienced HR professional (ideally CIPD qualified) who has extensive experience of operational HR to include complex ER, policy and procedure, redundancies and training/coaching managers on HR processes. You'll be working with senior managers and thus will need to have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Many of your clients will be in working specifically with schools and academies and as such it would be useful to have a working knowledge of the burgundy book (and to a lesser extent the silver book) T&Cs as well as demonstrable teaching union experience. You'll be supporting on a whole range of issues from ER resolution through to TUPE, change, consultation and restructures, as well as helping to train and coach clients on a broad spectrum of HR skills and toolkits, ranging from succession planning through to absence workshops.

This role will be a fantastic opportunity for someone to really make it their own and grow as the opportunity grows. Ideally you have come from a generalist HR background, any experience advising schools on HR, or have come from a local authority role where you have been part of a HR team advising schools, could be a help. An understanding of the education landscape in the region would be a benefit too.

It's likely you'll spend a couple of days a week in the office, a couple of days out with clients and there is flexibility to potentially have your 5th day from home.

For more information about this fantastic opportunity, please contact Mark Dayman from Search HR on 0116 247 3308 or email mark.dayman@search.co.uk

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
