HR Business Partner
Location: Leeds (North West)
We are looking to recruit a HR professional for this non-unionised manufacturing business. You will report to the HR Director and support business managers across the company.
You will be responsible for delivering a generalist HR remit across the company's 600 employees for this growing business where you will be given the autonomy needed to deliver results.
We would like to hear from someone with HR gravitas in a blue collar' work environment, manufacturing would be of particular interest.
This is a 'hands on' HR role with a difference. Whilst you will be competent managing any manner of employee relations issues it has to be noted that this company much fewer than the norm ER cases. Absence runs at just 3% and many employees are 20+ years service. A 20% increase in turnover is reliably anticipated in the coming year. As well as the 'day to day' operations it is expected that the first 6 months for this new appointment will include putting the people in place to ensure this happens.
There is a geographical responsibility for other areas in the country albeit the necessity to be away from the office is maybe once a month or so!
To be considered for this opportunity, we require the following skills and experience:
* Relevant degree education. Qualification by experience will be considered
* You will be able to demonstrate excellent relationship building skills with business leaders and be able to foster healthy partnerships that work well for the business
* Manufacturing or similar experience required
* Implementation of employment legislation regulatory changes and ensuring compliance
* Flexible approach to problem solving
