Senior Graduate Recruitment Manager - Birmingham - 12 month FTC
£60K - £70K + car + bonus

Our client is a global leader in their field and a recognisable brand in their own right. Due to projects that have created additional workload, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Graduate Recruitment, Student Recruitment or Early Careers recruitment professional on an initial 12 month FTC.

Working from prestigious offices in Birmingham, you will be part of a large national team focusing on graduate, undergraduate and apprentice hires across the organisation. Our client has an enviable, award winning, track record in this area and recruits close to 2,000 new candidates each year into these areas from close to 50,0000 applications.

Your role, as a senior manager in this team, would be to build, maintain and foster the internal relationships between the various stakeholders, client groups and hiring managers and the team itself. You'll need to have fantastic market knowledge in both early careers recruitment and recruitment trends in general as well as the ability to pick up quickly the attributes and cultural fit the organisation is looking for. You'll use this knowledge, credibility and diplomacy to support, mentor and manage your client group through the resourcing process and help them and the team to achieve their aims of attracting only the highest calibre talent into the organisation.

Although at this level it is unlikely you'll be involved in much hands on recruitment, our client is keen that you'll be an integral part to the large recruitment and assessment events that they run, around the UK, to assess for talent and hire it. As such it is expected you'll play a key part in these days and will need to have flexibility to travel to attend during peak times.

You'll need to be a fantastic communicator across all mediums and work as an ambassador for the early careers function. You'll be showcasing the best of what this team can do to both stakeholders and potential candidates. You'll need to be able to problem solve on your feet and ensure expectations are being managed and met - this role is an enabler - you'll help to make things happen.

You can expect to be in London one day a week and during key hiring times in the year will need to travel to key regional UK locations to support in assessment events. It's anticipated that you'll already have fantastic market knowledge of the student recruitment scene in the UK from previous similar roles.
