Senior Electronics Engineer - West Sussex - £35000-42000pa.

Our West Sussex based client require an Electronics Engineer to be actively involved in New Product Introduction and research and development projects for their growing business. In the role you will be responsible for the electronic design and development in existing, and new projects. You will be innovative and have a thirst for the development of new products/ideas in the company.

Responsibilities:
The design & development of electro-mechanical assemblies, (analogue & digital).
The design & build of test equipment.
Build and test of prototype electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Design and layout of integrated circuits to assist the Development departments in UK and China.

Specification
Experience in electronics R&D is an advantage.
Knowledge of Electronic Design, CAD, Production and Test equipment.
Good understanding of PCB assembly methods including surface mount. Previous experience in circuit design with micro-processors, fault finding to component level on analogue, digital and embedded microprocessors technologies.
An understanding of stepper motors and stepper motor control is an advantage.
USB design and interface design is an advantage.

Experience:
Electronics Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Extensive experience in electronics design company.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and outlook essential.
