A leading Manufacturing business in southern Scotland is looking to recruit a Senior Buyer on a permanent basis.
Performing a key role within Operations, the successful candidate will manage day-to-day Purchasing function; ensuring maximum value is achieved at all times.
* Develop and manage defined Procurement processes and procedures
* Deliver cost savings in addition to improved supplier performance and better quality of service
* Build positive relationships across organisation
* Produce and deliver business reports, supporting Supply Chain department KPI's
Skills & Experience;
* Proven Purchasing experience, preferably within manufacturing environment
* Experience utilising various systems including Microsoft packages and bespoke IT packages
* Ability to understand and use MRP/ERP systems
