Latest news is that civil engineering is back to the levels we saw before lockdown which is great news for the industry. One of the key drivers of the increase in workload in the sector is coming from highways schemes up and down the country.
We are working with one of the UK's leading civil engineering contractors to secure them the services of a Section Engineer to be engaged initially on a 2 year, £30m highways scheme in Staffordshire. Works will include new highway construction, 2 bridges, one over rail and one over a canal, new roundabouts and junction works.
The Section Engineer we are looking for will come from a heavy civils background that includes highway construction. The role itself will encompass the usual Engineer duties such as setting out, permits, RAMS, etc… but will also require you to take a tighter view of health and safety and also provide mentoring and assistance to more junior members of the team. This is a permanent (salaried) position.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
