My client requires an ambitious and data driven sales manager to transform their sales team and implement change. The successful candidate will have a data driven approach to account management in order to support the external sales team with client retention. You will be responsible for developing a new CRM system, processes as well as developing and executing a sales strategy. Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop processes and dashboards to monitor sales activities
  • Work with the field sales managers to ensure excellent co-ordination between teams for client activity
  • Lead from the front and set clear and consistent direction for the team
  • Carry out regular team reviews and appraisals in order to develop a sales culture
  • Lead the development of the CRM system and processes to maximise the conversion of sales opportunities
  • Manage key clients relationships and maximise up selling opportunities

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 5+ years proven experience in sales or commercial management
  • 2+ years proven experience of leading a B2B sales team
  • Experience of B-to-B sales with the ability to develop a good understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Experience of working collaboratively in a sales & marketing team
  • Demonstrable experience of increasing sales revenue by achieving or exceeding personal targets
  • Experience of CRM system & process development
  • Experience of using data visualisation software in a sales environment
