Search consultancy are working with a client based in East Kilbride who are looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant on a permanent basis. Our client are a well-established Pharmaceutical Company who operate across multiple territories across the UK. They are a high performing business going through a period of growth and are looking for someone on a long term basis.

The successful individual will have experience of working in a busy finance team and have ideally been involved in sales ledger and credit control. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to build efficient working relationships with non-finance stakeholders within the organisation. It is also key for this individual to balance their time effectively and prioritise set tasks at the appropriate time.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Posting & reconciling payments and receipts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Performing credit checks and opening new accounts
  • Management and resolution of key invoicing & credit control issues
  • Producing and checking customer statements
  • Assisting with ad hoc admin duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar type of role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills (in particular Excel)
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
