Sales Executive/ Account Manager - Crawley/ Gatwick - Permanent

Salary: £25k (Negotiable)

The Opportunity
Are you a Sales Executive or Account Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding new role in a vibrant, inclusive and growing business?

My client has undergone a sustained period of growth. Subsequently, they are looking to bring in a full-time Sales Executive to join their established and high performing sales team. You will be working from their Gatwick office, and the role includes a competitive salary and a host of attractive benefits.

As part of this sales role, you will have to respond to new business enquiries from prospective clients and convert their interest into sales using your energetic and collaborative sales style.

Your core Sales Executive responsibilities:
* Sourcing and responding to requirements for quotes (RFQ's) for services, parts and components.
* Locating components to fulfil customer RFQ's when zero stock; obtain the price, condition, trace, availability and tag information.
* Translating and presenting component specifications to meet customer approval.
* Processing sale orders, purchase orders, pick tickets and RMA requests from customers if applicable.
* Communicating effectively to maintain professional relationships with vendors and customers.

This exciting Sales Exec role in Gatwick, West Sussex is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with their initiative.

Your New Business skills and requirements:
* Previous aviation/engineering background is essential.
* Relevant experience in customer service and or sales roles.
* Previous components sales experience
* Active customer and collaboration service skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Advantageous skill(s):
* Previous experience with Quantum Control (ERP system) and an awareness of the EASA 145 and airworthiness record-keeping requirements would be a bonus.
