An award winning publisher is looking for a Sales executive to help expand their new business portfolio throughout the UK.
This is an internal outbound sales role, where the right candidate will be cold-calling potential trade businesses to advertise within the company's magazine.
A tenacious, self-motivated and sales driven candidate is needed for this role.
Main Responsibilities of the Role:
* Outbound sales with clients to buy advertising space or time.
* Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.
* Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organisations and contacting them.
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
* Explaining the benefits of your packages, using statistics on readership or viewing figures.
* Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
* Gather market and customer information
* Offering a package according to the customer's needs.
* Closing the deal and recording the details on the CRM.
What you should have:
* At least 2 years of telesales experience or working in a sales environment.
* The ability and desire to sell.
* Excellent communication skills
* A positive, confident and determined approach.
* Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection.
* Be a good team player and able to develop good working relationships across the business internally.
* Ability to demonstrate successful client account management achieving targets set out in the business strategy
