I'm currently supporting my Glasgow based client to recruit experienced, passionate and motivated Sales Account Managers to join their existing successful team.

The company

Based in Finnieston in Glasgow, you will become part of a company who are an award-winning fleet management provider, and are the UK's leading fleet management specialist. The team you will be joining is well established with over 100 years combined leadership experience and work closely with their clients to help provide the highest level of service possible.

The role

Sales Account Manager

Your role as a Sales Account Manager will be to manage your client base which includes vehicle finance brokers. You will be responsible building up your working relationship with your clients, assisting them with any queries they have and to guide them on how best to make use of the services that you provide.

This role will also provide a link to manage general enquiries between your clients and the company finance partners. You will ensure that each client is provided with excellent customer service whilst increasing your sales.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Proposition of all finance applications directly to the finance house
  • Maximising all income opportunities
  • Work in conjunction with the Head of department to monitor and maintain business income, units and commercial targets
  • Manage and maximise renewal opportunities
  • Highlight campaigns and trends to your clients in conjunction with the Sales Manager
  • Provide support to other members of the department when required
  • Work closely with the sales support on all areas of the business


You will also be involved working closely with your nominated sales support person to provide a complete service package to all clients. Alongside this, you will be required to monitor sales performance, service levels and processing procedures with a view to enhance any areas where possible.

About you

As the Sales Account Manager, you will ideally have a background within sales as an account manager and have a proven track record of building successful relationships with your customers.

In addition to the above, you will also have:

  • The ability to manage and prioritise your workload
  • Sales experience
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and be organised
  • Methodical and computer literate


In return, the successful Sales Account Manager will receive:

  • A base salary of £24,500
  • OTE c£30k
  • Hybrid work model
  • Working hours of Monday to Thursday 9am - 5.30pm and Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Pension contribution of 5%
