As Retail Manager you must demonstrate recent experience in a retail management role, preferably from clothing however those with experience from other comparable retail environment will also be considered. This role may also suit someone with significant supervisory experience looking for the next step in their career.
As Retail Manager you be commercially focused and bring with you passion and enthusiasm for selling quality clothing in a busy and fast paced environment.
With a proactive, motivated and customer centric approach you will lead by example to ensure that sales, merchandising, service and housekeeping standards are the best they can be.
A typical day as Retail Manager will involve:
- Supporting a team of 5 to deliver customer service and sales targets
- Merchandising stock ensuring seasonal changes and promotions are implemented
- Preparation of staff rotas
- Financial management
- Recruitment of new team members
- Training and development
- Complaint handling and resolution
- Ensuring housekeeping and health and safety standards are met
