Residential Worker

Search Consultancy is currently looking a Residential Worker to join our expanding team in the Durham area. This position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible, on an ongoing basis.

*** Candidates must be able to start induction on 16th March 2020 ***

Salary: £12 per hour

Hours: You will work an average of 37 hours per week, following a designated shift pattern between 7.30am - 11pm, with alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

As a Residential Worker you will care for and co-ordinate the activities of young people on a day to day basis, so that good outcomes are achieved.

In this job you will also take on the role of the key worker to individual young people as required by the manager, as well as work in partnership with young people, their families, social workers and other relevant stake holders and agencies, in pursuit of the identified outcomes for young people.

The ideal Residential Worker will:
* Have a Full Driving Licence and use of a car, unless a disability prevents you from this
* Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Have a DBS on the update service, or willing to have one processed as soon as possible
