Residential Worker

Search Consultancy is currently looking a Residential Worker to join our expanding team in the Wakefield area. This position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible and will last until the end of July 2020, subject to review.

Salary: from £13.55 to £18 per hour

Hours: This is a full time position with days, night and sleep ins on a rota basis. The rota might also include weekends and bank holidays.



As a Residential Worker you will work towards improving the life chances of the children and young people.

The homes and behaviours displayed can be intense at times, and so it is important that you have strong emotional resilience and are also prepared to work with complex young people who have suffered from trauma and abuse in the past.

Induction and supervision will be provided, please get in touch to get a better idea of the job and the shift patterns.



The ideal Residential Worker will:
* Have a Full Driving Licence and use of a car, unless a disability prevents you from this
* Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Have a DBS on the update service, or willing run one
