A leading light of the professional training scene in the UK are looking for a Reporting Analyst to join their team in central Manchester, due to continued growth of their business offering.

What do they want me to do?
They want you to sit within the Marketing team and focus on the end-to-end of delivering marketing and channel reporting, to put it simply.
You'll be working to select appropriate targeted audiences for B2B and B2C marketing communications, as well as having a hand in a variety of ad-hoc analysis projects.
You'll also be working alongside some key internal stakeholders within the marketing department, building and maintaining relationships with them to provide excellent service using the most up-to-date analytical tools on the market today.
Am I the sort of keen analyst that they're looking for?
There are a few signs to look out for that would answer that.
Are you good with building relationships? That's a key here. You'll be working in a small team within the wider marketing division, and there will be all sorts of stakeholder coming to knock at your door, entrusting you with key analysis projects, so you need to ensure communication is stellar and updates are regular.
Another key is your technical skills. Handy with SAS or SQL for your analysis work? Excellent! Just what they need. Preference there would be a mix of both, but strong analysis skills are a must. And if you come from a mathematical background, so much the better.
And the kicker for them would be top notch organisational and timekeeping skills. These reports need to be done on time so that the business can better serve their students and customers. So you'll need to be well organised and able to turn your focus quickly from project to project. They promise you aren't going to be bored.
What sort of skills or experience would I need?
There are a few definite things. You'll need:
* At least a couple of years working in a similar analytical environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Data Analysis skills using SAS or SQL
* Experience of managing campaigns using SAS or Adobe Campaign Standard
Will I be doing this for free?
Certainly not - they're offering a salary of up to £28,000 for this position. Not bad, eh?
