Rent Collections Officer

  • Salary: £25,000
  • Liverpool
  • Monday to Friday (9am - 5:30pm)
  • Permanent Contract

My client in Liverpool are looking for a Collections Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. As a Collections Advisor you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of customers and collecting rent for a property management company. The Collections Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Collection of rent from residential and commercial tenants.
  • Pursuing late payments as per set company procedure.
  • Protection of tenancy deposits within timeframe required by law.
  • Collection of service charge from leaseholders.
  • Sinking fund management.
  • Timely payment of invoices.
  • Answering internal and external stakeholder queries relating to the financial accounts.
  • Such other duties as requested in line with experience
  • Make and receive calls to customers in default
  • Contact customers by email and letter regarding payment

Essential Requirements are:

  • Previous experience working within a property management, credit control or collections role
  • Good communication skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Ability to be empathetic
  • Attention to detail
  • Risk Management
  • Exceptional customer service skills
