Insurance Renewal Sales Executive
£23,000 basic plus bonus
Great opportunity to join one of the world's largest insurance brokers working out of their offices in Leeds with easy access bus and train links. You'll be working for their small business division in a fast moving telephone based sales environment talking directly to business owners about their commercial insurance needs. It's all outbound calls but all are off the back of existing relationships so no cold calling. There is a sociable shift pattern, you'll get every weekend off with a 35 hour week Monday to Friday either 9-5 or 10- 6 shift. The earnings potential is realistically over £30k OTE with full onsite back up from a dedicated underwriting team focused on getting the best deal for you to sell to your clients.
You will need to have outbound telesales experience, be an excellent communicator and negotiator. Having an understanding of commercial insurance along with good literacy and numeracy skills will mean you are able to make timely effective decisions.
It's a target driven role so the expectation is that you can self motivate be assertive and build rapport and influence your clients. Ideally you will have worked in the Insurance or Financial Services sector and progress with CII qualification is an advantage.
