Job purpose

The Registration and Revalidation Adviser will work as part of a specific team within Registration and Revalidation providing high quality administrative support to the teams and for processing applications in line with procedures. This could be within one of the following teams:
International Applications
Specialist Applications

Main responsibilities
1 To review, process and progress applications and recommendations in line with procedures, information security policies and GDPR requirements.
2 Prioritise applications and meet deadlines to keep within agreed key performance indicators and service level agreements.
3 Take responsibility for more complex enquiries from time to time, including those from external stakeholders.
4 Prepare final bundles and memos for referral to an Assistant Registrar for decisions as required and prepare cases for referral to an Appeal Panel.
5 To provide appropriate and timely responses to doctors, stakeholders and third parties by telephone and produce written correspondence
6 To provide an excellent level of customer service to doctors, third parties and colleagues maintaining a professional relationship and ensuring information provided is in line with Data Protection legislation requirements.
7 To maintain accurate electronic case records, ensuring that they can be effectively tracked, monitored and progressed ensuring quality standards are achieved.
8 To process and keep track of document verification and ensuring records are accurately maintained.
9 To be responsible for the management of hard copy documents, correspondence and administrative support.
10 To work with other administrators to ensure the smooth running of the teams' work.
11 To refer enquiries to other areas in the business for advice as appropriate.
12 To support internal partners within the business with their queries and processes.
13 To contribute to policy changes and updates to procedures, processes, systems and guidance.
14 To contribute to the directorate work on continuous business improvement, by identifying areas for improvement in the processes and procedures. Proactively suggesting ways of improving these.
15 To be redeployed to other teams dependent on business need
16 Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time, such as taking minutes of meetings, making travel bookings and completing any other tasks as requested.
