Do you have a passion for providing care and support to adults and young people with autism and learning disabilities? My client is looking for a Registered Manager to provide person-centred specialised care and supported living. This nursing support role is a full-time job based out Leeds and York with a salary of up to £30,000 plus depending on experience.

As a Registered Manager, you will be working within a legislative framework with specific knowledge regarding CQC outcomes, regulations and standards. You should have at least three years of experience within social care services.

Some additional critical areas the Registered Manager will be responsible for:

  • An understanding of the safeguarding process and the ability to effectively follow this process
  • Being part of on-call responsibilities (rota basis)
  • Undertaking an enhanced (with barred list) DBS Check
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in the area of care responsible (willingness to work towards level 5 if required)

Alongside your regular duties, you will be responsible for managing and developing a capable staff team, including recruitment, training, and supervising care staff. Ideally, you'll have minimum 2-year experience as a Team Leader or the ability to convince our client that you're ready to step up to this Registered Manager role. You'll need to demonstrate how you would effectively liaise with Line Managers and Heads of Service.

Interested? Please send you CV to the email given below for an interview.
