Recycling Operators - Day & Night shift available (7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am) - working 4 days on and 4 off
Are you looking for your next challenge in Warehouse and Logistics? Search Consultancy is recruiting for Recycling Operators to join our clients brand new distribution centre based in Coventry . You will be part of the warehouse operation from day one helping to ensure reliability and sustainability of the warehouse and supply chain for one of the world's most iconic brands.
As a Recycling Operative you will be part of the team responsible for the reverse flow and return of goods back into our clients Distribution Centre. This includes managing and processing the return of cardboard, materials, roll cages, trays and waste to the distribution centre. To do this you will need to be able to work efficiently as part of a team or individually ensuring the smooth movement of goods from arrival on site, through their individual processing requirements to ensuring the timely departure coordinating with 3rd parties to facilitate dispatch to their warehouses.
You will need a track record in working to tight deadlines and previous experience working in a recycling environment, warehouse or a reverse logistics operation would be desirable. Your daily roles and responsibilities will include, unloading and loading lorries, using a bailing machine to bail cardboard and moving drums from cages to 3rd party lorries. The role will require some heavy lifting and you will be required to do other tasks within the warehouse when required depending on the businesses needs.
Experience in working with a bailing machine is desired and experience in either in a reverse logistics operation or warehouse environment.
Healthy and Safety is the number one priority on site and therefore you will be required to ensure the working environment and wider warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised while following the company procedures in all aspects of your role.
