Land & Rural
We have an exciting opportunity for a lawyer to join an exceptional Land & Property team in the Edinburgh office. You will be part of one of Scotland's most successful and well known Property teams and be able to help work with existing and new clients.
Ideally you will be dual qualified (Scottish and English & Welsh) or, alternatively, English & Welsh qualified and with a minimum of five years post qualification experience. The successful candidate will be an experienced conveyancer (including residential conveyancing) having sound practical and commercial knowledge of English and Welsh property transactions.
The Land and Property team provides advice on all aspects of rural and urban property transactions. Along with handling the purchase, sale and leasing of property, we also advise on all legal aspects of managing and financing property.
You will be expected to handle a broad range of conveyancing matters, including the sale, purchase and leasing of urban and rural properties in England and Wales and generally providing advice with regard to any conveyancing matters that arise in the course of the management of English and Welsh property.
The urban property work will include residential conveyancing, ranging from properties of a modest value to high value properties in London and other large cities. For dual qualified candidates, a similar range of work would be expected relative to Scots law property work.
You will be provided with a fantastic opportunity to build on your career in an environment with an unrivalled reputation. The Firm is committed to developing talent and provides outstanding training opportunities within a collegiate working environment.
On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package as well as the option for part time working.
