We are supporting a highly regarded firm with modern offices in central Scotland who are trusted advisers to a range of businesses large and small who operate across both Scotland and other parts of the UK. The firm have an exceptional reputation for providing a highly professional yet friendly service and have grown through continued repeat business.

As an experienced commercial property lawyer you will cover areas of work such as retail investments, property join ventures, commercial leases to licensed trade sale and purchases. Working closely with the clients you will also assist them with more complex matters such as tax, planning and environmental issues.

Role:

• Reviewing and reporting on title deeds
• Reviewing and revising leases for Landlord or Tenant
• Knowledge of estate management work - lease variations, licence for works, rent reviews and renunciations
• Reviewing and reporting on Purchase and sale contracts
• An acute understanding of client commercial drivers and overriding motivations for client objectives

Individual:

We consider applications on an individual basis but as a guide we are looking for:

• Qualified Solicitor of 3+ years PQE to more experienced individuals
• Previous legal experience in a Real Estate team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage a busy caseload
• Strong communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
