Search Consultancy has a vacancy for a full-time experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join a Learning Disabiity Team to work for Darlington Council. This post is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible.

Salary: up to £25.00 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Social Worker, required for a Learning Disabiity Team. Previous experience of working within the Adult's sector is necessary.
The ideal Social Worker must:
* Working with complex caseloads
* To work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality social work practice.
* Undertaking individual/and or joint assessments
* Packages of care and Support plans are in place
* Undertaking individual/and or joint assessments
* Deliver solution focused interventions
* Working with multi-agencies
* Comprehensive understanding of Primary legislation such as Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998, Care Act 2014 and Mental Health Act 1983
* Writing reports and contributing to Court reports
* To undertake Section 42 Enquiries into safeguarding concerns under the guidance of your line manager and the Safeguarding Team

You MUST be:

* HCPC registered
* Eligible to work in the UK
* A full UK license holder
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Experience in a similar role is required
