We're seeking to place experienced Child Protection Social Workers in Manchester. You will be a Qualified Social Worker with experience of child protection and strong social work values, working as part of a safeguarding team Manchester. In reward for your skill and dedication, you'll enjoy a competitive rate of £25 to £27 per hour.
It's a busy Social Working team, dealing with complex cases, you can expect a reasonable amount of court prep and court work. Due to COVID0-19 pandemic, our client is offering as much remote, flexible working as possible, although there will be occasions when you are needed in the office, or to perform visits in extreme cases.
Essential Child Protection Social Workers requirements:
● Upwards of One year of post-qualifying experience in child protection social work, safeguarding, or other relevant roles.
● A driving license.
● You must be a UK Citizen or have the right to work in the UK.
● You'll need the ability to work under pressure and prioritise caseloads.
Due to the nature of this child welfare Social Worker role, candidates must have front line post qualifying experience in child protection services. This role is subject to HCPC, DBS and reference checks. The inclusive team you'll be working with are incredibly supportive and collaborative and will provide guidance to anyone who has been out of practice for a while.
