Are you a scientific graduate with HPLC experience looking for a significant new role in Runcorn? We are helping to recruit for a full-time, laboratory-based QC Administrator position, and the job comes with a salary of up to £25k per annum, on a 6 month contract initially.

In this busy Quality Control Administrator job, you will be monitoring and scheduling the analysis of raw materials and finished products effectively, following a production and stability schedule.

The primary QC duties include:
? Liaising with contract laboratories to ensure sample are tested and results reported promptly.
? Generating specifications for raw materials and finished products
? Ordering the release of raw materials and components for use in manufacturing
? Analysis of raw materials and finished products in accordance with approved methods and procedures
? Ensuring that good laboratory practices are maintained throughout all processes and procedures

In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Quality Control Manager.

To apply, you will require previous quality control experience, preferably from the pharmaceutical or food industries. Specific requirements include:
? A science graduate qualification
? A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a science-based quality control job
? Excellent IT and communication skills
? An organised, systematic approach to work, with great attention to detail.

You will be working weekdays from 8 am, with an early finish on Fridays. The salary range is £18k to £25k, DOE. You will also benefit from a company bonus scheme and group pension plan.
