Purchase Ledger Clerk // Permanent // Trafford Park // £20-23,000

We are working with a successful international business in the Trafford Park area to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk due to a change in structure.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join this welcoming finance team and make the Purchase ledger role their own.

Duties will include:

* Set up new supplier accounts
* Query resolution
* Process invoices
* Gain authorisation prior to payment;
* Payment preparation
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Expenses and credit card reconciliation
* Petty cash management
* Intrastat preparation
* Input bank statements on to Sage
* Month end close for purchase ledger
* Assist with the information required for audit
* Cover for Credit Controller duties when required
* Ad hoc admin tasks as required

Experience:

* Previous purchase ledger experience within a finance team- min 1 year
* Multi Currency experience is advantageous
* Highly organised and able to meet deadlines
* Good systems and excel experience, SAGE preferably
* Adaptable team player
* Good communication skills, able to liaise with internal and external contacts at all levels

The working hours are 35 1/2 hrs per week with some flex on start and finish time and an early finish on Fridays. This is a great company to be part of, with a good culture and lots of shared activities outside work when possible.
