A great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to be part of a highly successful and respected business based in Manchester City Centre.
Due to growth in the business an Accounts Payable Clerk is required to join the team.
The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the accounts payable function including purchase ledger, claims payments and employee expenses as well as ensuring procedures and controls are reviewed and maintained in line with company policy.
The key responsibilities will involve timely payment of agreed claims settlements, preparation of cheques and BACS runs, overseeing the processes relating to employee expenses and ensuring processes are followed and accuracy maintained.
The successful candidate will have good excel skills (V Lookup & Pivot tables), excellent organisational skills, pro-active, flexible and able to manage a varied workload.
