Purchase Ledger // Rossendale Area // up to £25,000 DOE

We currently have an excellent opportunity to join a well established Finance department of a thriving company in the role of Purchase Ledger Clerk. The role sits in a dynamic and supportive team but will also have a sense of ownership and independence in this fast-paced environment. Key Areas of responsibility

  • Matching and inputting purchase invoices and credits
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Three way matching of POs for all stock and non-stock transactions
  • Preparing payments for suppliers with guidance
  • Managing queries
  • Liaising with departments to ensure purchase orders are raised within the financial policy
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Review of invoices on hold and clear in a timely manner
  • Assisting with month end reporting for KPIs
  • Helping with other finance tasks as needed

Skills and experience:

  • End - to -end purchase ledger knowledge and experience
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of invoices
  • Ability to priorities and meet deadlines
  • Positive, problem solving and proactive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • High levels of accuracy
  • Good excel skills
