Property Litigation Associate Role - Global firm - London
Fully remote role
Extremely good working hours

A great opportunity to join an exceptionally well established, award winning legal 500 International firm.
As a highly regarded and respected law firm my client is recognised as a leading Global Firm within the legal services market.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an excellent property litigation lawyer to join the remote property litigation team.
This is the next generation of legal services which brings together the best of Private Practice and Managed Service and creates strategic partnerships that redefine the way legal services are provided to global multi-nationals, FTSE 250s, and other large privately owned clients.
You will deliver excellent legal services and insightful data to support our clients by using a combination of legal, technological, and operational specialists to define a new standard for best practice.
Given the extensive nature of our client's business and its innovative and dynamic approach, the work (which will encompass asset management e.g. leases, licenses, variations, disposals and acquisitions, and general advice) will undoubtedly be varied, challenging, and engaging.
This client is looking for someone to join the team who is keen to provide first-rate client service, be part of a dynamic collegiate environment, and who wants to develop their career with a leading global firm.

Purpose of role

The role spans all contentious aspects of property-related litigation for both commercial and bespoke residential and mixed-use clients.
More typical work includes managing significant landlord and tenant portfolios and all the landlord and tenant issues arising, such as covenant disputes, alienation, forfeiture, dilapidations, and rent review.
We would consider suitable candidates from nq upwards in terms of PQE. This position offers a wide and varied workload coupled with excellent career prospects and market-leading training and development.

Responsibilities

You will work as part of a team to deliver a full spectrum of commercial real estate work for our client. This will include advising on day-to-day property litigation issues for a variety of clients. Through newly established ways of working, including an increased emphasis on technological solutions, you will be supported in taking full ownership of some key requirements and transactions for this client, giving you direct responsibility for core and high-profile aspects of their portfolio. Our approach is to create a supportive environment by working collaboratively as part of a team whilst also encouraging team members to operate with a degree of independence.
You will work closely with other members of this dedicated team as well as the in-house legal function at our client. The department has a strong teamwork ethic and a first-class client management approach. It is essential that candidates are team players and committed to developing personally and professionally. A determination to deliver high-quality focused services to our clients is essential, as is maintaining and developing client relationships.
Successful candidates will be people with energy and enthusiasm who want to become one of the top teams in the country, working hard to provide the highest levels of client service whilst at the same time valuing having fun and being part of a supportive and collegiate team.

Required experience, skills and attributes
  • You will have ideally completed a seat in either property litigation, real estate, or dispute resolution
  • You will have the requisite experience for your PQE level in real estate litigation at a commercial law firm
  • You will possess a strong academic record, including a degree or equivalent
